SharePoint 2007: Installation

Pre-requisites

• Install IIS and all its components. 

 Note: If you have already installed IIS and yet you’re getting this error in SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard: You must have Internet Information Services installed in order to use the SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard, install IIS 6 Management Compatibility

• Download the latest SharePoint Service Pack, and store the files into Updates folder of the installation package.

Installing Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007

• From the installation package, double click Setup, and follow the prompts.

          Installation Type = Advanced
          Server Type = Complete
          File Location = same settings

• After the installation, run the SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard.
